Virtual Memoir Class begins 11/7

I’m teaching a VIRTUAL Memoir Writing Class for the Marlene Meyerson JCC. It runs for six weeks, from Monday, November 7 through Monday, December 5. The class meets from 4:00 – 5:30pm. Whether you want to write for yourself, for your family, or start a memoir, or begin to write, this class is for you. It’s an easy-going class with a nice group of people. There will be a variety of writing assignments, discussions about writing, and I’ll give you ideas for taking your writing further. There’s no homework! You just need to try to write while you are in class, and I'm there to help you.

[VIRTUAL] A Memoir - Writing Workshop | Marlene Meyerson JCC Manhattan (mmjccm.org)

Here's a testimonial from a student: I didn’t know if I had a story to tell and, if I did, if I could craft a narrative compelling enough for anyone to want to read it. Luckily for me, I found the JCC’s Memoir-Writing Workshop. The class, taught by Janet R. Kirchheimer, is a beautiful gift of transformation, and I saw personal reflections and scribblings about life blossom into readable prose. If you have even the slightest interest in creative writing, I highly recommend this class.

Even if you can’t make all the classes, you are most welcome to attend; and you’ll still get much out of the class.

The class is $90 for members, and $110 for non-members

Hope to see you there if you can make it, and feel free to tell your friends about that class.
