The Wise Owl Interview & Virtual Memoir Class

Somehow, it’s October. I don’t really know how it happened.

Well, I do. I’m getting older, and time is moving quickly. And the Jewish High Holy days seem to blur my life for about a month. But I’m not complaining. The holidays have been inspiring for me spiritually and continue to inspire my writing. I’m truly grateful.

I’m also grateful and honored to share an interview I did with The Wise Owl, the Pine edition. The editor, Rachna Singh, asked probing questions and made me think about my writing life in a serious manner. It’s a wonderful international journal. For those of you interested in submitting your work, please do.

Also, a reminder that my VIRTUAL memoir writing class for seniors, 60+, starts at the Marlene Meyerson JCC on November 7. I’ve been teaching for 10 years now and adore the class. You don’t need any experience writing or need to want to publish a book. The class is about writing – about giving yourself an hour and a half to write in a safe environment and see what comes up and interact with other students. The class is supportive without any pressure. My philosophy of writing is at the end of the interview if you want to learn more about me and the class. I hope you’ll consider joining!
